Spectacular Maui Golf Courses

Maui is truly a golfer’s paradise. Boasting 15 spectacular golf courses for public play, the island offers a tremendous variety of golf experiences, including some of the most highly-ranked courses in the nation. Whether you are a novice or a scratch golfer, you’ll find Maui’s courses to be challenging and memorable, and the views utterly breathtaking. All of Maui’s courses are within an easy hour’s drive of The Mauian, but four of the island’s top courses are located in very close proximity to the hotel. If you are a golfer, these courses are a must-play during your Mauian visit:

The Mauian is situated adjacent to the Kapalua Resort community, home to two world-class Kapalua golf courses: the Bay and the Plantation. Kapalua’s Plantation Course plays host to the Mercedes Championships each January, the season-opening event for the PGA Tour.

The Kaanapali Golf Courses are located just 10 minutes south of The Mauian. There are two championship courses here, situated in the heart of the Kaanapali Resort area. The Royal Kaanapali course is currently home to the PGA Tour/Wendy’s Champions Skins Game that takes place every February.
